GUIDELINES FOR SUMMER TRAINING (May-Sept.1st) On BORDERLINE PLANTATION
It is a privilege for members of THRC to train on Borderline Plantation thanks to the generosity of Sallie Sullivan. We ask that you respect her wishes and abide by the following guidelines:
1- Only The Training Pond (The Field Of Dreams) is to be used for training. No exceptions! No other training areas of the plantation will be maintained or mowed this summer. For the safety of you and your dogs, please do not stray.
2- The Training Pond will be open on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
3- Training is “first come, first serve”. If people are training when you arrive, please check in with them. They will either invite you to join them or try to help you find a spot that will not interfere with their set up. If you arrive first please give others the same courtesy.
4- If workers come to mow, please take a break and let them work that area. If mowing is in progress do not interrupt, just wait for the mowing to conclude. They work pretty fast.
5- Do not use the duck pen without permission from Sallie. It is only to be used for hunt tests and other special events.
6- All people training on Borderline must be members of THRC. There are no exceptions! Nonmembers may be asked to leave. Membership forms may be downloaded from the THRC web site, completed and sent to Tom Dorroh with a check for $35, or left with your host to be forwarded. Our insurance only covers club members.
IF YOU ARE FOUND IN AREAS OTHER THAN THE “TRAINING POND” WITHOUT PERMISSION
OR VIOLATE ANY OF THE ABOVE GUIDELINES YOUR MEMBERSHIP PRIVILEGES MAY BE REVOKED!!!
