Training Rules for THRC Members on Borderline Plantation

During September through April, training is allowed only at the Field of Dreams (also known as training ponds) on Saturday and Sunday. This includes the training ponds and the immediate grass area surrounding the training ponds. Due to quail hunting in the woods and fields, all fields are off-limits except for the grass areas surrounding the training ponds at the Field of Dreams from November through March. Due to quail nesting season, members (with permission) may train on the other ponds located on Borderline Plantation from April through October, however, the Field of Dreams has been designated as the primary training area and all members are requested to train there if possible. Occasionally, special events (i.e., seminars, workshops, hunt tests, bird dog trials, etc.) may be scheduled on the grounds which precede training on Saturdays and Sundays.

Members training on Borderline release Borderline Plantation and the THRC from all liability to the person or the members, the members’ dogs, and any and all other property of such members training on Borderline. The THRC strongly urges its members who train on Borderline not to litter the premises but pick up all trash and litter that such members discover. Also, do not drive anywhere so as to damage the fields and roads of Borderline.

Members are reminded that we are guests of Borderline and it is a privilege offered to the members of the THRC to train on Borderline and the members must insure that the members take care of the property. The grounds are for registered club members only.
